College administrators can identify events, duals, and matches that shouldn't count toward NCAA postseason seeding while still keeping the competition listed in the season. Correctly identifying non-countable competition helps keep a wrestler's season information aligned with postseason seeding requirements.

Matches That Should Count
- Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Exhibition matches for NCAA seeding purposes.
- Intercollegiate matches.
Matches That Should Not Count
- Exhibition matches between teammates.
- Matches against club-level teams.
- Matches against military services teams.
- Other matches that shouldn't count toward NCAA postseason seeding.
Mark an Event as Non-Countable
- Select My Account > My Extras > Post Season Seeding Non-Countable.
- Find the event.
- Use the drop-down menu to mark the event as non-countable.
Mark a Dual as Non-Countable
- From Post Season Seeding Non-Countable, select Duals.
- Find the dual.
- Use the drop-down menu to mark the dual as non-countable.
Mark an Individual Match as Non-Countable
- Select Matches.
- Select the wrestler.
- Find the applicable match.
- Use the drop-down menu to mark the match as non-countable.
Important
All matches competed during the season, as defined by the NCAA bylaws in the current NCAA Manual, must still be listed, including open or unattached competition.
Unattached student-athletes must be listed with their college affiliation, such as Unattached State University.
