Before you can stream from a matside computer, you'll need to install the Trackwrestling Scoring Controller and OBS Studio. The controller manages your Trackwrestling event and scoring workflow, while OBS Studio handles the video stream. You'll also need to connect the two programs during setup so they can work together.

Install the Trackwrestling Scoring Controller

Download the Trackwrestling Controller to your computer.

Keep the downloaded controller ZIP folder available. You'll use it again when connecting the controller to OBS Studio.

Install OBS Studio

1. Download OBS Studio.
2. Open the downloaded installer.
3. Follow the installation prompts.
4. If Microsoft prompts you to install required components, accept the prompts and complete those installations.
5. Continue until you reach the installation step, then click Install.
6. When the installation is complete, launch OBS Studio.
7. Click Finish.
8. When the Auto-Configuration Wizard opens, select No.

Connect the Trackwrestling Controller to OBS Studio

The Trackwrestling Controller needs to be added to the OBS Studio settings so the programs can work together.

1. Copy the downloaded controller ZIP folder.
2. Open OBS Studio.
3. Go to File > Show Settings Folder.
4. Paste the controller ZIP folder into the OBS settings folder.
5. Right-click the controller ZIP folder.
6. Select Extract All.
7. Open the controller folder you extracted.
8. Run Update Controller.
9. Right-click the controller folder and select Send Shortcut To > Desktop.

You can now access the Trackwrestling Controller from the desktop as you continue setting up the matside computer for streaming.
