Importing wrestlers from a spreadsheet can save time when setting up an open tournament. Before importing, verify that your spreadsheet is formatted correctly and that the division, weight class, and team names match your tournament. Follow the steps below to complete the import, or watch the video below for a walkthrough of the process.

Important

If your tournament uses online registration, wait until registration has closed and you have imported all registration data before importing wrestlers from a spreadsheet.

Prepare Your Spreadsheet

Your spreadsheet must:

• Include one wrestler per row.
• Include one field per column.
• Use division, weight class, and team names that exactly match those in your tournament.

Import the Spreadsheet

1. Insert an extra column between every data column.
2. Fill each extra column with commas (,).
3. Copy the spreadsheet data without the column headers.
4. Log in to your tournament as an administrator.
5. Go to Registration > Upload > Wrestlers in Delimited Format.
6. Paste the data into the upload text box.
7. Use the column dropdown menus to identify each field.
8. Click Upload.
9. Review the confirmation message.
10. Go to Registration > Wrestlers to verify the imported wrestlers.
